The same thing, over and over again

I wanted to write something interesting today. One of the books I'm reading is good, but I can't stop noticing similarities with other books. Am I just reading way too much and cracked some formula? All these outcasts are driving me crazy. It's always the same. People hate me, they want me as far away from them as possible...OMG, my life is a nightmare.

Life is not fair. Period.

I know, I know...if I don't like the theme, I should quit reading and try another one. That's easy to say, but I'm still curious to know what's gonna happen in the end. There's even a sequel!
Why do I start books that are part of a series? Good question. I'm gonna ponder that while getting a pedi. :)

  1. I like your new layout and thanks for the comments... yeah I read your first post and let me tell you, you read way too much novels... you should check something else.. start reading something more interesting... It was the same Charles Baudelaire who said: "Always be a poet, even in prose", maybe there is something in the poems that I've always found interesting, different, it talks about feelings and expressing yourself in a different, and marvelous way. A novel depending which one, it will be good but is just something created something fantastic in the sense of "not real" most of the times. So let me recommend you something new: Friedrich Nietzsche, any of his books: especially: Ecce Homo I guess is the same name in english, and definitely: Thus spoken Zaratustra. Any of the books of Charles Baudelaire: are kinda difficult to find but worth it! "the flowers of evil" and "artificial paradises" some of my favorites, and actually all of the damned poets: Verlaine, Rimbaud, Baudelaire, and I think I am missing one.. Or you might even want to read their predecessor Thomas de Quincy he is British, the rest of them are French, and Nietzsche obviously German. I love that kind of literature hope you like it too...

  2. Nice to see you here!
Thanks for the recommendations. I'll be sure to check them out. I'm not that into poetry. I do love Gustavo Becquer. I guess it's the Spanish language that makes everything more interesting. I'm about to start reading El Buscon, by Francisco de Quevedo. I read parts of it, but never actually sat down to read the whole thing. It's not very long. A little over 100 pages. It's funny! Ok, now I'm oging to check out the authors you so nicely suggested.
